As I've been reading other Mom's blogs this week, I found the Ultimate Blog Party 2010. How could I not join? A way to meet other moms and other bloggers; I'm in.
So this is my party. My blog is dedicated to being a mom in the best ways I know how. It features what I am, what I know and what I love!
What am I?
I am a mom to one amazing and energetic daughter.
I am wife to a volunteer firefighter, who is always looking for ways to help during an emergency.
I am a daughter to two amazing parents, who were so supportive that I was able to become the mom that I am today.
I am sister to a crazy a brother!
I am a good friend to those who take the time to get to know me.
I am an environment loving, organic cooking, Jewish, Disney freak.
What do I know?
I am a teacher by degree, by trade and by heart. As such, my blog has a variety of activities that I have done to "teach" my daughter. I hope you will look through the activities we have done and will take advantage of the activities I have already created, and give my any suggestions for future activities. Check out my Tot Packs and Folders.
I was a Religious Studies major in college. While I loved learning about all religions, this also helped me to develop a better relationship with my own.
What do I love?
I love cooking, being green, taking pictures (though most of them are of my daughter these days).
My blog is a place started as a place to share my green "mommying" with others and became a way for me to meet other SAHM's and help me to exchange ideas with others.
Now for the "paperwork." 5 Minutes for Mom asked that we list the prizes we would be interested in. Now who wouldn't be interested in prizes???
My top 3 are
- Itty Bitty Bookworm - the Bailey Curriculum provided by The Itty-Bitty Bookworm
- $50 Amazon Gift Card from Robyn ~ Our Homeschool Home
- Disneystore.com Gift card fromKristin @ Couponing to Disney
My other preferred choices are 5, 17, 27, 32, 37, 43, 52 and 95. Though all the prizes look great!
I hope you'll say hi and come back to visit again, or even follow me. I love followers!
